Excited to share my latest personal project: a stylized armored vehicle named the 'Desert Hunter'. This piece was created entirely in Blender, serving as a comprehensive exercise in hard-surface modeling, asset integration, and environment lighting.
My primary goal was to design a vehicle that looks both powerful and functional within a rugged, low-poly desert setting. I focused on creating a robust and stylized aesthetic, paying close attention to the details on the treads, the powerful turret, and the integrated lighting system. The clean, defined shapes are optimized for a game-ready asset, ensuring it would perform efficiently in a real-time environment.
This project was a great opportunity to expand my skills in:
Hard-Surface Modeling: Building complex mechanical forms with clean topology.
Component Design: Designing and integrating separate parts like the lights, exhaust pipes, and unique tread system.
Environment & Lighting: Creating a simple diorama with a stylized terrain to showcase the asset in a thematic setting, and using dramatic lighting to highlight its key features.
I am very happy with the final result and the learning experience gained from this project. I hope you enjoy the 'Desert Hunter'!
